The miracle of Wix
I suffered through the complexities (& add-on costs) of Word Press - the skImpiness of Squarespace - the bad English of Joomla - and the rip-offs of Rapidweaver ("We don't need no stinkin' databases!") - I came to Wix before database and created a New Blog workaround for my data's complexity and extent - and then came Wix Data to prove I had found the right mate after all - finding out that a partnership got richer overtime is practically a miracle! Support for VIP sites is stellar. Added features in the year 2019 alone are almost countless - always notified when Requests are realized. Wish my personal data entry could be farmed out to staff, but I may live long enough to publish my masterpiece of a tombstone containing all I thought interesting, remarkable, comic, and outrageous in a very long-life. Might be a market in Life Story site templates?
But, what the hell does "Corvid" have to do with anything? A purchased company?,Does Corvid mean something arcane? A real head scratcher minor point.

Very user friendly and adaptable to what I was looking for. I had no experience building my own site and I got pretty much what I wanted. I had a site designed by a service using WordPress. I was able to make my own modifications and adjustments, but found it difficult to work with WordPress and never got what I wanted.
It remains to be seen what I may be giving up in how my new site works with SEO and such. Only time will tell.

My Wix site rocks with the classic editor
I don’t know about you but I was never fond of learning to code. I tried, but failed miserably! Still, I wanted to be able to build a website for myself, mainly to share photos and post articles.
Eventually, this need for an easy-to-use website tool led me to find my first website builder, which was Weebly. This was in 2009, and since then, website builders have exploded in popularity.
I started WebsiteToolTester to help beginners just like you (and me!) find an easy way to create your own website. Funnily enough, for a very long time, we used the Webnode website builder to run this site. But when it grew to more than 200,000 monthly visitors and 7 different languages – bigger than any website builder could support – we made the switch to WordPress.
However, to this day, we still use website builders like Wix, Weebly, and Jimdo for a number of our projects.
